Join the Rotary Club of Florence, serving all of Boone County (@FlorenceRotary), on Monday, February 26, 2024, at noon as Vice President of Development for the Dragonfly Foundation (@DragonflyCinci) Megan Jackson will be speaking on “Support & Community When Pediatric Cancer Changes Your Life Forever.” The Dragonfly Foundation provides strength, courage and joy to children and families faced with a pediatric cancer diagnosis. From the moment of diagnosis, Dragonfly is there for the whole family providing unique services of support and encouragement.

Megan Jackson is a long-time champion of building community. Through relationships and making connections between individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations, Megan strives to use her gift of connecting to bring encouragement, support, and growth. Rooted in social services, she began her career as a Family Resource Center Coordinator with Covington Independent Public Schools before finding her knack for fundraising in the non-profit sector.

In 2015, she turned her focus to philanthropy as Director of Individual Giving for Cincinnati Museum Center and supported the historical $240+ million-dollar restoration and renovation project of Union Terminal and its museums. Then in 2019, Megan received the unique opportunity to join Master Provisions as their first Development Director in their 25-year history; launching multiple new giving platforms, growing their recurring donor program, and broadening their brand recognition.

But it wasn’t until most recently, and with great enthusiasm, Megan returned to her roots of caring for children and families when she accepted the role of VP of Development for The Dragonfly Foundation. As the only non-profit in Greater Cincinnati focused on caring for children and their families faced with a pediatric cancer diagnosis, Dragonfly provides strength, courage and joy in unique ways and with tangible opportunities. With over 7,500 Dragonflies served, Megan is at home continuing to care for others and providing an example of how we all grow when we live in community with one another.
